WHAT WE OFFER:
Female Navigators is offering mentoring, which is an invaluable way to create a formal network for sharing knowledge and inspiration. We are a group of young females, typically with 1-3 years of professional experience, who have all recently been faced with the challenges and dilemmas that come with starting out ones career. Mentoring is a structured form of conversation, where topics in terms of education or career choices can be discussed – such as: Should I start my own business? Should I take a job/semester abroad? How do I prepare best for a job interview? Or any other relevant career challenges.
HOW IT WORKS:
In practical terms, you will get a mentor from Female Navigators, who is matched on the basis of education, professional experience, and career choices. Expectations, time boundaries, and potential conversation topics are adjusted between you and your mentor. Mentoring can take place by phone, Skype or through regular meetings, and you are guaranteed at least four sessions within the following year.
WHEN TO APPLY:
If you want to join our mentoring program, please send your CV and a short application, where you describe your dilemmas/challenges, why you are seeking a mentor, and what you would like to get out of the programme. You are also welcome to indicate your preference for a specific mentor, amongst our ten members, which you find here.
Please submit your application before Monday 14 May 2012 at: mentor@femalenavigators.com
