Mentor Program

Do you want a mentor from Female Navigators?

We are always interested in speaking with young women and we find mentoring a younger person, perhaps still studying at university or businessschool as a way to give back some of our knowledge and insights.

For us a mentoring program is an invaluable way for (wo)men to organize themselves and create a formal network for sharing knowledge and inspiration. Mentoring enables a structured form of conversation where challenges and dilemmas can be discussed with a person that has relevant or intriguing experience and knowledge.

In practical terms, you will get a mentor from Female Navigators, who is matched on the basis of education, experience and career choices.
Expectations, time boundaries, opportunities for conversation topics are adjusted between you and your mentor. Mentoring can take place by phone, mail, Skype or through regular meetings – we have mentors who live in New York, Johannesburg, Stockholm, London, Dublin and Copenhagen. As a mentee you will get the opportunity to discuss:?

  • Challenges and dilemmas that you face right here and now – in terms of education, career etc. Knowledge and inspiration related to challenges about female leadership – time management, work/life balance etc.
  • Inspiration to contribute to the current public debate about gender, leadership etc.?

If you are interested to join our mentor program, please send a short
application and your CV to: mentor@femalenavigators.com
